Academic Grading in Bangladesh
There are two GPA Grading systems in Bangladesh: GPA and CGPA. GPA and CGPA have different mark intervals, Grade points, and Letter grades. GPA is calculated on a scale of 5.00, and CGPA is calculated on a scale of 4.00.
The 5th-grade Primary Education Certificate (PEC), 10th-grade Secondary School Certificate (SSC), 12th-grade Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), and Equivalent Education Grading System is GPA. Determination of GPA:
The Letter Grading system evaluates a student’s performance in a course. A+, A, A-, B, C, and D are passing grades for the course. F is a failing grade for the course.
